Edwin Hodge, born on January 26, 1985, is an actor from America. He is famous for being in The Purge movies, where he played Dante Bishop. He’s the only actor who was in all three of the first Purge films.

Early Life:

Hodge was born in Jacksonville, North Carolina, on January 26, 1985. His parents are Aldis Basil Hodge and Yolette Evangeline Richardson. Even though he was born in North Carolina, he grew up in New York. His mom is from Florida, and his dad is from Saint Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. Both of his parents were in the U.S. Marine Corps. He is the older brother of actor Aldis Hodge.

Career:

Hodge appeared as a guest on an episode of the TNT series Leverage, which stars his younger brother. He also had a guest role on an episode of One Tree Hill.

In The Purge series, Hodge played “the Bloody Stranger” in The Purge (2013), The Purge: Anarchy (2014), and The Purge: Election Year (2016). In the third film, the character was revealed to be named Dante Bishop. He also acted in the horror film As Above, So Below (2014).

Hodge took on the role of firefighter Rick Newhouse on Chicago Fire.

In 2019, he played Clayton Poole, the husband of NASA astronaut Danielle Poole, in the first season of the Apple TV+ show For All Mankind, which is a science fiction space drama series.
