Divyendu Sharma, also known as Divyenndu, is an Indian actor who acts in Hindi movies and TV shows. He became famous after his role in the funny movie “Pyaar Ka Punchnama” in 2011. He won an award for his performance. After that, he played smaller parts in movies like “Chashme Baddoor” (2013) and “Toilet: Ek Prem Katha” (2017). Later, he starred in a TV show called “Mirzapur” (2018–2020) and a short series called “The Railway Men” (2023).

Divyenndu was born on 19 June 1983 in Delhi, India. He studied political science at Delhi University’s Kirori Mal College. Before becoming an actor, he did theater in Delhi for three years. Then, he went to FTII, Pune, for a two-year acting diploma. Before acting, he appeared in commercials for brands like Virgin Mobile, Birla Sun Life, and Fidelity Mutual Funds. He’s married to Akanksha Sharma.

In 2019, Divyenndu decided to drop his last name because of numerology and his belief in reducing caste divisions in India. However, his official documents still have his full name.

Divyenndu started with a small role in a movie featuring Madhuri Dixit after her break. His first big movie was “Pyaar Ka Punchnama,” where he played a character named Liquid. He won an award for this role. He also acted in other movies like “Chashme Baddoor,” playing the role of Omi the poet in David Dhawan’s remake.
