Diljit Dosanjh was born on January 6, 1984, in India. He is a singer, songwriter, actor, and producer. He is famous for his work in Punjabi music and movies. His popular movies include Jatt & Juliet 2, Punjab 1984, and Sajjan Singh Rangroot.
He grew up in Dosanjh Kalan, Jalandhar, and started his career in 2002. He became well-known in Punjabi music with albums like ‘Smile’ and ‘Chocolate’. Later, he started acting and appeared in his first Punjabi movie, The Lion of Punjab, in 2011.
In 2016, he made his Bollywood debut in the movie Udta Punjab and received awards for his performance. He has also appeared as a judge in a reality show called Rising Star.
Dosanjh has achieved many milestones in his career. He became the first Indian Punjabi artist to perform at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in 2023. He has released several albums, including G.O.A.T. and Moonchild Era, which charted on the Billboard Canadian Albums Chart.
