Daniel Pudi is an actor from the United States. He was born on March 10, 1979, in Chicago. He’s known for playing Abed Nadir on the TV show Community from 2009 to 2015. He got nominated for awards for his role in that show.

Since 2020, he has been in a comedy series called Mythic Quest on Apple TV+. He was also the voice of Huey Duck in the 2017 reboot of DuckTales.

Daniel grew up in Chicago with his brother and sister. His parents came from Poland and India and became U.S. citizens. Daniel spoke Polish with his mom and grandma.

He went to Notre Dame College Prep and later studied dance in Chicago. He went to Marquette University and graduated in 2001 with a degree in communication and theatre. After that, he moved to Los Angeles in 2005 to pursue a career in television and film.

Before becoming an actor, he worked as a recruiter for a search firm. He got into acting and eventually landed a role in Community. Apart from acting, he has been in TV ads for Snickers, Verizon, McDonald’s, T-Mobile, and Far Cry 4.

In his personal life, Daniel is married to Bridget Showalter. They met at Marquette University, and they have twins born in January 2012. Daniel is also a runner and has run in several marathons. He bought a house in Pasadena, California, in 2014.
