Richard Anthony “Cheech” Marin is an American funny person, actor, musician, and someone who fights for causes. He became famous in the 1970s and 1980s as part of a comedy team called Cheech & Chong, along with his friend Tommy Chong. He also played a detective named Joe Dominguez on a TV show called Nash Bridges. He’s given his voice to characters in Disney movies like Oliver & Company, The Lion King, and Cars.

Cheech is known for using a strong Chicano accent in his roles, even though he doesn’t speak Spanish fluently.

Cheech was born on July 13, 1946, in South Los Angeles, California. His parents were from Mexico. When he was young, he had surgery to fix a cleft lip. He grew up in California and went to Catholic school and then to college.

As part of Cheech & Chong, he made funny records and movies. After that, he starred in movies like Born in East L.A. and Once Upon a Time in Mexico. He’s been in TV shows like Nash Bridges and Married… with Children. He’s also done a lot of voice work in animated movies.

Cheech is friends with the director Robert Rodriguez and has been in many of his movies. He’s also done a lot of work with Disney, voicing characters in their movies.

He’s been on TV shows like Lost and even competed on shows like Celebrity Jeopardy!.

Cheech is really into collecting Chicano art. He’s opened a center in California to show off his collection. He also likes playing golf and horse archery.

Cheech has been married a few times and has children. He lives in Malibu, California, and he’s a big fan of the Los Angeles Rams and the Los Angeles Dodgers sports teams.
