Bill Burr, born on June 10, 1968, is an American funny person, actor, writer, producer, and person who talks on the internet (podcaster). He’s done lots of funny shows, like “You People Are All the Same” (2012), “I’m Sorry You Feel That Way” (2014), “Walk Your Way Out” (2017), and “Paper Tiger” (2019). He got nominated for a Grammy Award for “Paper Tiger” and for a Primetime Emmy Award for a dark comedy series called “Immoral Compass” (2021–present). A magazine called Rolling Stone put him at No. 17 on their list of the “50 Best Stand-Up Comics of All Time” in 2017.

Burr has a podcast called the Monday Morning Podcast, and he helped create a network called All Things Comedy in 2012. He also made an animated TV show called “F Is for Family” (2015–2021), where he’s the main character’s voice. He’s been in other stuff too, like Chappelle’s Show, Breaking Bad, The Mandalorian, and The King of Staten Island.

When he was young, William Burr was born in Canton, Massachusetts, to his mom Linda Ann and his dad Robert Burr. He’s part German and Irish, and he’s kind of related to a guy named Aaron Burr, who was the third U.S. vice president. He finished high school in 1987 and got a radio degree from Emerson College in Boston in 1993.

Before he was a funny person, he worked in warehouses and drove a forklift. He started doing stand-up comedy in 1992 and moved to New York City in 1994. He became famous with shows like Chappelle’s Show and started his podcast in 2007. Burr has done lots of stand-up specials, and some of them are only on Netflix.

From 2010 to 2017, he did more comedy specials, appeared in shows like Breaking Bad, and made his network All Things Comedy. He also made the animated TV show “F Is for Family.” In 2018, he did another Netflix special called “Paper Tiger” and started a podcast with Bert Kreischer. He played a character in The Mandalorian and was in The King of Staten Island.

In 2022, Burr became the first comedian to perform at Fenway Park, in front of 35,000 people. He has sold-out shows in big places like Madison Square Garden and the Royal Albert Hall. Burr has been called a “comedian’s comedian” and is known for his funny and sometimes loud style.

In his personal life, Burr married Nia Renee Hill in 2013, and they have a daughter born in 2017 and a son born in June 2020. Burr likes flying helicopters, playing drums, and is a fan of rock and heavy metal music. He’s also politically liberal, supporting gun control and abortion rights, but he’s critical of political correctness. He voted for Green candidate Ralph Nader in 2000 and didn’t vote for Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump in 2016. In 2021, he criticized Florida’s governor for not making people wear masks during the COVID-19 pandemic.
