Benjamin Géza Affleck, born on August 15, 1972, is an American actor and filmmaker. He has received awards like two Academy Awards, two BAFTA Awards, and three Golden Globes. Affleck started acting as a child in a PBS show called “The Voyage of the Mimi” in the 1980s. He gained fame with his friend Matt Damon by winning an Academy Award for writing “Good Will Hunting,” a movie they also acted in.
Affleck faced ups and downs in his career but made a successful comeback with the movie “Hollywoodland” in 2006. He later directed and starred in films like “Gone Baby Gone,” “The Town,” and “Argo,” winning critical acclaim and awards. Affleck also played Batman in the DC Extended Universe.
