Astrid Bergès-Frisbey is an actress and model. She was born on May 26, 1986. She’s from Spain and France.

She’s famous for her roles in movies like The Sea Wall, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, and I Origins. In The Sea Wall, she played Suzanne. In Pirates of the Caribbean, she was the mermaid Syrena. She also played Sofi in I Origins and the Mage in King Arthur: Legend of the Sword.

She won awards for her acting, like the Prix Suzanne Bianchetti in 2009 and the Trophée Chopard Award in 2011 at the Cannes Film Festival. She also got nominated for the David di Donatello Award in 2016.

Astrid was born in Barcelona. Her dad is Spanish and her mom is French-American. She has two younger sisters. When she was little, her parents split up, and she moved to France. She grew up near La Rochelle, a small town. She liked acting in school plays but never thought she could do it as a job.

When she was 17, she moved to Paris to study osteopathy. But she ended up wanting to be an actress instead. She’s really good at languages, speaking Catalan, Spanish, French, and Italian. She learned English for her role in Pirates of the Caribbean.

She started acting on TV in 2007 and in movies in 2008. She also started modeling in 2010. Her first English movie was Pirates of the Caribbean in 2011.

She had to learn English really quickly for that role. When she was filming in Hawaii, she had to stay out of the sun to keep her skin pale.

After that, she acted in Spanish and French movies. She even learned Italian for a movie called Alaska in 2015. She got nominated for an award for that role.

In 2017, she had a small part in King Arthur: Legend of the Sword. In 2020, she won a Best Actress award at the Taormina Film Fest for her role in L’Autre.

Now, she works with Chanel as a brand ambassador.
