Antonia is from a mixed background. Her mom is black and from Jamaica, while her dad is white. Since she was very young, around five years old, she dreamed of becoming an actress. She started acting in plays written by her mom at their local theater.

She went to the John S. Davidson Fine Arts Magnet School in Augusta, Georgia, where she studied drama. Later, she went to Emory University to continue studying drama. At Emory, she was part of a comedy-improv group called Rathskellar Comedy Improv Group. She was quite busy during college, juggling acting, studying, and a part-time job.

Antonia has played various smaller roles in different shows and movies. In 2018, she was in a romantic comedy movie called Candy Jar and had a part in one episode of a superhero TV series called Raising Dion.

Interestingly, she got the audition for Ginny & Georgia during the same week she graduated from Emory. She landed the role and the show premiered on Netflix in 2021.
