Adria Arjona Torres is an actress from Puerto Rico. She was born on April 25, 1992. Adria played Dorothy Gale in the TV show Emerald City in 2017. She also acted as Anathema Device in Good Omens in 2019 and as Bix Caleen in Andor in 2022. Adria had smaller roles in movies like Pacific Rim Uprising (2018), Life of the Party (2018), Triple Frontier (2019), 6 Underground (2019), and Morbius (2022).
Early Life:
Adria was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and lived in Mexico City until she was twelve. Her mom, Leslie Torres, is Puerto Rican, and her dad, Ricardo Arjona, is a singer-songwriter from Guatemala. When she was a kid, she traveled a lot with her dad on his tours. At 12, she moved to Miami and later went to New York City at 18. In New York, she worked as a waitress and studied acting at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute.
Career:
Adria’s early TV roles include Emily in True Detective (2015) and Dani Silva in Person of Interest (2014 and 2015). She starred as Dorothy Gale in Emerald City and played Anathema Device in Good Omens. Adria had small roles in Triple Frontier (2019) and a leading role in 6 Underground (2019). In 2021, she starred in Sweet Girl on Netflix with Jason Momoa. Adria was also part of the Morbius movie as Martine Bancroft. She was in an ad campaign for Giorgio Armani’s fragrance My Way in 2020.
In April 2021, she was confirmed as the lead in the Warner Bros. remake of Father of the Bride. In August 2020, Variety confirmed she joined the Star Wars series Andor on Disney+. In October 2021, she was set to star in and executive-produce the drama film Los Frikis. Adria will also star in Blink Twice, the first movie directed by Zoë Kravitz.
