Adam Mitchel Lambert is a singer, songwriter, and actor from America. He was born on January 29, 1982. Since 2009, he has sold over 3 million albums and 5 million singles all around the world. Lambert is known for his amazing singing that mixes his theater training with different music styles.

In 2009, Lambert became famous after being the runner-up on the eighth season of American Idol. That same year, he released his first album called For Your Entertainment, which did really well on the charts. One of the singles from the album, “Whataya Want from Me,” got him a Grammy nomination.

After that, Lambert released more albums like Trespassing in 2012 and The Original High in 2015. He also joined the rock band Queen as their lead singer in 2011 and has been performing with them since. They released an album called Live Around the World in 2020, which became number one in the UK.

Besides his music career, Lambert started a non-profit called Feel Something Foundation in 2019. This foundation helps support LGBTQ+ community projects, including education, mental health, and preventing homelessness.

Adam Lambert was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Leila, a dental hygienist, and Eber Lambert, a program manager. He has a younger brother named Neil. After his family moved to San Diego, California, Lambert started performing in theater and choir from a young age. He was also part of jazz bands and competitions.

After high school, Lambert attended California State University for musical theater but left after a short time to pursue a career in entertainment. In his personal life, Lambert confirmed he is gay in 2009 and has been in relationships with Sauli Koskinen and Javi Costa Polo. He also opened a bar called The Wild in West Hollywood in collaboration with others in November 2023.
